Immerse yourself in Japanese traditional culture at the head office of Koryu Toyo-kai through a comprehensive program featuring flower arranging, tea ceremony, history insights, and an introductory certificate.
Your experience begins with a slide presentation introducing the history, cultural background, and unique features of Ikebana in Japan and the Koryu Toyo-kai style.
Next, take part in a hands-on floral design session guided by the Headmaster or a Master Instructor. You will use seasonal fresh flowers and a Kenzan—a traditional holder recognized globally for its eco-friendly, sustainable design.
You will also enjoy a relaxed tea ceremony where authentic Matcha tea and Japanese seasonal sweets are served, allowing you to fully experience the spirit of Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi).
At the end of the session, you will be awarded an introductory certificate and can take memorable photos with your floral arrangement displayed in the traditional Tokonoma alcove.
