Discover the essence of Japanese traditional culture with a focus on flower arranging and history at the head office of Koryu Toyo-kai.
The program starts with an informative slide presentation covering the history, cultural evolution, and distinct characteristics of Ikebana and the Koryu Toyo-kai school.
Following the introduction, enjoy a hands-on flower arranging session with fresh seasonal blooms under the guidance of the Headmaster or a Master Instructor. You will use a Kenzan, an eco-friendly tool widely praised internationally for its sustainability.
At the conclusion of the experience, receive an official introductory certificate. You will also have time to display your completed artwork in a traditional Tokonoma alcove and take photos to remember your cultural experience.
