Half a day in Tokyo, built around what you want to see. We ask beforehand and shape the route to your answers. The same guide stays with you from start to finish, and takes your photos.
■ Before the tour
・After booking, you fill in a short form — where you'd like to go, how you eat, what pace suits you — and we build the route from that.
・If you'd like to talk it through properly, you can add a 30-minute Zoom planning call for +¥4,700. We recommend it if this is your first time in Japan, or if you have dietary needs.
■ On the day (4 hours)
・We pick you up at your accommodation, and the 4 hours start there (10:00 start; other times on request).
・Classic route: Meiji Jingu, Tokyo Tower, Zojoji, the Imperial Palace,Ameyoko.
・Old-town route: Fukagawa Fudodo, Fukagawa Edo Museum, Kiyosumi Garden, Kameido. This is the area we walk every day — not built for tourists, which is exactly why ordinary Tokyo is easiest to see here.
・Your guide speaks English.
・We travel by train and taxi (taxis seat up to 3).
■ Photos
・Your guide takes the photos.
・You receive them 2 days after the tour.
・Around 15 photos are included. A full album (around 60 photos) is available for +¥4,700.
■ Please note
・Solo travellers pay the same rate. There is no minimum group size.
・Four hours is short for workshop experiences, so we don't usually include them. If you'd like one, please consider the full-day tour.
・Admission, transport and meals are not included. We settle them together at the end of the tour, at cost, with no markup added.
・We may be closed on Sundays.
・To help us confirm your reservation smooth, please enter our reference code 「discover01」 at the bottom of section "3. When" on the booking form.
