An exclusive, fully private cultural program held at the head office of Koryu Toyo-kai. Immerse yourself in authentic Japanese culture through a live Suiboku-hana performance, historical insights, hands-on Ikebana (flower arranging), a tea ceremony, and an introductory certificate.

""Suiboku-hana Temae,"" uniquely created by Koryu Toyo-kai, is an expressive art form combining the spirit of Japan with traditional artistic elegance.

Unlike conventional flower arrangement, which focuses primarily on displaying the final creation, our school integrates elegant tea ceremony manners and classical Waka poetry recitations, celebrating the very process of arranging flowers as a performance art.

You will first witness this mesmerizing live performance to experience its unique aesthetics firsthand, followed by an engaging slide presentation detailing the history, evolution, and distinct features of Japanese floral art.

Next, enjoy a hands-on flower arranging session using Kenzan (spiky frog holders)—a tool gaining international attention as a sustainable alternative in floral design. Under the expert guidance of the Headmaster or a Master Instructor, you will arrange seasonal fresh flowers.

Afterward, relax during a traditional tea ceremony where authentic Matcha tea and Japanese seasonal sweets (Wagashi) will be served, offering a glimpse into true Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi).

To end your experience, you will receive an official introductory certificate. Display your completed masterpiece in the Tokonoma alcove for a memorable souvenir photo to commemorate your journey into Japanese culture.
